Six months after the grocery store was burglarized, Colby Q. Mummaw and Kayla Marie Singley, both 27 years old parents from Ephrata, have been accused of conspiring in the theft.

Singley, "an acquaintance" of Mummaw's worked at the store at the time and allegedly provide him with the information which helped in the theft.

Mummaw broke into the store and stole cash and a safe full of cash, in the early morning hours of July 9, according to police.

New evidence discovered in December 2022 led to the charges and subsequent arrest of Singley on Jan. 1, the police detailed in a release.

She remains in the Lancaster County Prison after failing to post bail.

Mummaw was already in Lancaster County Prison related to previous pending robbery charges, which Daily Voice readers may recall involved a masked robbery of an Ephrata Turkey Hill. You can read more about that incident here.

Both Singley and Mummaw are both parents to young children according to their social media profiles.
